As Nathan comes up on the big O.N.E birthday, I've had alot of friends ask me if I am going to forward face him now in his car seat. The answer to that question is no, and here is why.

Car seat laws have just been recently changed. Now the law is that your child should remain rear facing until the age of 2. Daniel and I have talked about it and Nathan will stay rear facing until he is 40 lbs no matter what age he is when he hits that weight. Really you can find cheap car seats that are still safe This is the car seat that Nathan is currently in. I got it at target for only $20 because it was on sale. Now you have to ask yourself which is better the safety of your child or keeping the money that could save your childs life?
I would NEVER EVER do anything to put my baby's safety in jeopardy and car seats are a important subject to me. So please as you are driving keep your babies safe!
