Trying to Conceive- The Beginning
It's not a surprise that we are ready to have another baby. I've always been a fan of babies (specially when they are my own!) Nathan is now two and I always said I wanted another baby after he was two. We are also settled into our house which has three bedrooms and we only use two so we already have the extra space. Although things haven't panned out like I thought they would since moving to New Mexico I fell like having another baby is the path that we are being led down.
When we decided to move to New Mexico instead of keeping the orders for England Daniel and I had decided I would join the Air Force Reserves. Things didn't go as planned, so I'll start school hopefully in the Spring or Fall and become a Officer in the AFR if that is something I still want to do. As for now I'm keeping all my options open.
To begin the adventure of trying to conceive our second baby I had my IUD taken out two weeks ago. My doctor said it may take a few months but most women conceive in the first few months after removal. My only concern is that in the first three months there is a bigger than normal risk of a miscarriage. No matter what happens it is out of my hands.
When I got pregnant with Nathan it was a bit of a surprise. I didn't know I was pregnant until about 6-7 weeks. I had morning sickness and that was my clue that something was up. I'm hoping that with this being my second pregnancy I will know what to expect.
People ask me a lot if I want a boy or a girl. Really as long as the baby is healthy then I will be one happy Momma! We already have boy clothes so that would save a lot of money, but the idea of having a girl is exciting too. It would make the first grand daughter on my side. It's still up in the air on if we will find out the gender when I do get pregnant. We will just have to wait and see on that!
As for now I have started prenatal's and am trying to keep myself healthy!
