Tick Tock

    You see that little count down in the top right of the screen? It says Daniel leaves for basic in 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS! Time has flown by! I remember when I made that ticker and it said 3 months. It felt like forever away.

    Now I only have 2 weeks for my little family to be together. I've started to think of ways to make sure that Nathan doesn't forget Daniel. We won't get much contract with Daniel. We are garenteed two phone calls. One with in 48 hours of him arriving telling me he is safe and one 8 1/2 weeks later saying that he is graduating. 8 1/2 weeks is ALONG time to not hear from your husband.

    Nathan and I will spend the time that Daniel is in basic and tech school with my parents. I'm excited, I've missed my parents and I'm sick of the Kansas cold. Plus we will get our Sophie Puppy back! I keep trying to think of things to do to make sure that the next 3 months passes quickly. Like I have saved shows on Netflix to watch while Daniel is gone. Things he wouldn't want to like Teen Mom, and girly movies that he wouldn't care about.

    I just keep reminding myself that after basic life will change forever. We will be who knows where but we will be together as a family and we will have a place of our own and a whole new beginning! I'm excited but scared, I wonder what it will be like. Will have have alot of friends? Will I fit in? Will Daniel be gone more then he already is? There are so many unknowns, so many what if's? We will find out soon enough what Air Force life will be like.
