Broken

First off I hardly ever break anything, I'm too careful. I think I have broken maybe 3 dishes in my whole life. Well yesterday that number jumped to 4 when I broke one of my mother-in-laws glasses. It was a total freak accident. I'm standing in the kitchen pooring myself a glass of water when all of a sudden the bottom of the glass just plumits to the ground, well instead of hitting the floor it decided to land right on my feet which sofened its fall and thankfully it didnt shatter! The glass pretty much broke clean in half!

My mother-in-law Cathy heard the episode and yelled from the living room if I was ok. this is how our conversation went-

Big crash fallowed by

Cathy: What was that! Are you ok! What broke?

Me: ummm.....ummmm...ummm. I'm bleeding. (this was said in a very shocked calm voice)

Cathy runs into the kitchen while I stand there in a pool of water shocked. I'm still holding the pitcher of water and the top half of the glass.

Cathy then goes into mom mode and gets paper towels wraps my toes up because they are bleeding and then cleans up all the water that I was going to drink.

In the end it was just scrapes, and I wore 4 sponge bob band aids on my poor toes! I finally did get my water, but I used a paper cup!
