Do the Potty Song!

It's that time, the time I have been dreading since I found out I was pregnant so long ago. Potty training! I'm scared to death but Nathan has decided he is ready. Mommy not so much but it isn't up to me! After Nathan had climbed into the toilet fully clothed I thought I would put him on the potty and see if anything happened. Fully didn't expect anything to happen but lo and behold he went to the bathroom! I was shocked and he was very proud of himself! he looked at me with the biggest smile and clapped his hands!

We stuck with the toilet for a little bit but found that it wasn't working  and mommy got sprayed. lol that's when we got Nathan this potty. He loves his froggy potty and goes in it about 5 times a day depending on how much we are home. All I have to do is ask Nathan if he needs to go potty if he does he smiles then goes running to the bathroom and goes potty then he gets a m&m, if he doesn't need to go potty then he will simply shake his head no.

Potty training really isn't as scary as I thought it would be mostly I just follow Nathan's ques. When he wants to go I'll take him but I not going to push him on it. It's working for us and he seems to really like it!
