Is over and done with, finally! It was alot of work and I told Daniel that we are not moving for a VERY long time!
The drive down wasnt too bad. It was Nathan and I driving the car and fallowing Daniel who was driving the uhaul. Nathan slept most of the way until the last 2 hours where he cried nonstop and we would pull over and I would take him out of his carseat and he would be fine. Then 15 minutes back on the road and the crying would start up again. I felt horrible that there was nothing I could do to help him. He didnt want his toys all he wanted was to be out of the carseat and the car! I couldnt blame him because I was sick of the car too!
I have learned already that Texas drivers cant drive to save their life! Within getting into Fort Worth not even 10 minutes we had already almost gotten into a accident because apparently they think when they merge over everyone will move out of there way. So even though I was RIGHT beside the person they decided to get into my lane forcing me to move to the left and almost getting rearended by the person behind me. Fun right? Not so much since Nathan was still crying in the backseat and my stress level was about a 90%.
But we are here in our new home and almost everything is unpacked already and I have almost worked myself into near exhastion. But you can rest when your dead right? haha. Nathan is haveing some problems adjusting to a new room and a new home. He doesnt go down for naps and bed time and easliy as he used to and I think teething has something to do with it. But we will get into a new routine that will work for our new living style and everything should settle down soon (hopefully!).
We were welcomed into Texas by amazing weather! It was 70 degrees and sunny for the first few days and then today we wake up to cold weather with snow on the ground! I have never had a night where we get rain, sleet, snow, thunder and lighting all in one night! Apparently thats what happens in Texas and all I have to say is "Texas, your weird!"
