•Take pictures of your little ones every day. The time goes fast so capture these memories as much as possible (and submit them to Kelly’s Closet photo contests!)
•Show affection to your spouse in front of your kids. Your kids should see mom and dad showing affection to one another. Show them the ways of a loving family unit.
•Apologize when you’re wrong, even to your children. Mom and dad aren’t perfect, and it’s okay to admit when we make a mistake too.
•See life through your child’s eyes. Enjoy experiencing jumping in the leaves, opening presents or building a snowman as if it’s your first time doing it!
•Breathe. Parenthood isn’t easy. Remember to take time for yourself and soak in every blessing you have earned in life.
•Be in the moment. Our lives are so busy. If you’re spending time with your babies this holiday season, remember to be there – in the moment. Don’t just be there physically, but be there emotionally and spiritually too.
